JCM Global has installed four LED walls at The Vine Showroom at del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo, New York, a venue described as part of a Churchill Downs property.
According to CDC Gaming, the new entrance marquee is 10 feet wide and 5.6 feet tall, and it is visible to guests throughout the property. Inside the showroom, two wall-mounted displays sit on either side of the stage, each nearly 7 feet high by 12 feet wide, while a third screen hangs above the stage at almost 10 feet high by 20 feet wide.
The suspended wall was built so it can be raised or lowered, giving production designers more flexibility. The LED walls can also be programmed to display content separately, in sync or in combination.
Dave Kubajak, JCM’s senior vice-president for sales, marketing and operations, said the new video walls help deliver on del Lago’s invitation to “Experience Extraordinary”. He said they build on The Vine’s reputation as acoustically superior and let the casino and visiting artists create visual experiences that match the sound.
CasinoCompendium described the project as a major digital signage installation that strengthens both the guest arrival experience and the visual production capabilities inside the showroom. It said The Vine serves the Finger Lakes region with concerts, comedy and live events, and that the new tools give the venue more flexible ways to support visiting artists, production teams and casino marketing.
The same report said the installation is part of a long partnership between JCM and Churchill Downs Incorporated. It added that JCM’s bill validators, printers, systems and DSS solutions are already used at several Churchill Downs properties across the United States, and that the company’s digital signage business continues to expand across the U.S. and Canada.
