Mamba Limited launched Spinsly Posters in California and New York on Sept. 22, introducing a casino-style sweepstakes site built around digital poster purchases and a single redeemable virtual currency. The product is available only in those two states and launched with more than 300 games.
Unlike Mamba’s conventional dual-currency Spinsly site, which has more than 700 games and excludes California and New York, Spinsly Posters has no Gold Coin balance. Its sole account currency is Sweepstakes Coins, which are offered as a complimentary promotional benefit with selected themed digital poster packs.
Customers can buy the packs by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, with posters delivered to their account email address. Five of the store’s 10 packs display a free-Sweepstakes-Coin tag, while the other five show only the poster quantity and price. The site says its Sweepstakes Coin games can also be played without purchase.
The $20 Safari Pack welcome offer includes four posters, 40 free Sweepstakes Coins and one spin on a Welcome Wheel. That wheel can award from two to 15 coins, leaving a new customer with 42 to 55 coins from the offer.
Coins earned through packs, the wheel and gameplay can be redeemed at $1 each once a player has accumulated 100 coins and completed one playthrough. The platform permits one redemption request per 24 hours; requests can remain pending for up to 72 hours and then take up to three days to process. A handwritten mail-in alternative awards three coins for each valid request card.
The launch came after California’s AB 831 took effect Jan. 1, prohibiting online dual-currency sweepstakes games that award cash or cash-equivalent prizes. New York’s S5935A, signed Dec. 5, 2025, similarly barred dual-currency online sweepstakes games, with reported penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 per violation.
RG.org said Spinsly Posters was designed in response to those measures. The wider poster format treats the purchased item as a collectible and removes the entertainment currency normally used in dual-currency sweepstakes casinos. Mamba had launched Amazon Jackpots Posters earlier in September, likewise limiting it to California and New York.
The new products’ legal position had not been tested by regulators as of late September. No California or New York regulator or attorney general had issued a cease-and-desist letter, filed suit or published guidance naming Spinsly Posters or the other listed single-currency platforms. Spinsly’s rules state that a resident’s outstanding Sweepstakes Coins will not be honoured if participation becomes prohibited in that state.
New York regulators have previously acted against conventional sweepstakes operations. The state attorney general’s office said cease-and-desist letters had led 26 identified platforms to stop selling sweepstakes coins in New York by June 6, 2025; the office said state law bars online gambling involving virtual coins redeemable for cash or prizes. Spinsly Posters is available to people aged 18 and older and applies a $5,000 per-spin cap to New York players, but not to Californian players.
